As always, if you'd like further details, more photos or would like to purchase, please contact us. 19th Century French Double Statue with 3 Dials This clock is a rare double statue clock with 3 seperate dials displaying the time, calendar and barometer. The cabinet over all dimensions are large. 22'' in Height, 28'' Width. The 2 spelter ladies rest opposite each other setting on a bench with backs turned. One lady is holding a sickle and the other an empty wine glass and pitcher. They are mirror images setting on a large bench crossing the base of the clock. The base is held by a cloved foot on each side and a main foot in the center. Above the main time dial is a vase covered by a wreathe of flowers. All the dials are set apart by a bezel with beveled glass. The time dial is porcelain with black numerals signed by ''Schryles ...and Graham''(?). Also the time dial displays an open escapement with jeweled pallets exposed. The barometer dial seems to be original with slight aged water marks on dial. The calendar dial is the best of all. It has 3 seperate chapter rings and a moon dial in the center. The outer ring displays the months of the year with the largest hand pointing to the month. The other 2 dials display the days of the week and the date of each month. The calendar movement is connected to the time movement by a lever running behind the statues.
